Step inside and see the
spacious interior with dual slides in the living and kitchen space. As you walk through the door to the left is a slide
out dining room table and four chairs beside a home theater seating area
with drink holders and overhead cabinetry. Straight ahead is a counter area with overhead cabinets
for storage. There is a slide out three burner range, microwave oven, a refrigerator, and an entertainment center on the road side. A kitchen island is just across from the dinning table and the refrigerator.
The rear private bunkhouse includes a slide out Jack Knife sofa on bottom and a bunk above on one side of the room, plus a flip down bed on the bottom with a bunk above on the opposite side. A closet is located in between the bunks.
Head towards the front of this fifth wheel and step up to a side aisle bath
and front bedroom. In the bath there is a corner shower
with dome overhead, a toilet, sink with medicine cabinet, and a linen
closet near the door. The bath has two entries, from the aisle and from the bedroom.
master slide out includes a wardrobe in the bedroom, and a linen closet in the bathroom. The room includes a queen size bed with a nightstand and shelf, closet, and overhead cabinets above the bed.
Also, if you enjoy outdoor cooking there is an outside kitchen that features a two burner cooktop, microwave oven, refrigerator, sink, and overhead storage.

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.
In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.
The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.
